Dear Reader,
Two months ago I wrote to you introducing OURS Magazine to the internet. Today I write to you to say thank you. It has not been long, but I could not have done any of this without the community that has been growing since April of 2017 and the staff of the magazine.
Thank you for supporting this magazine, the artists that we have featured, the articles that we have written, and participating in our open calls. It has been incredible to see how international and diverse the community has become. The comments we have received, whether in person or online, have all be kind, encouraging, and supportive.
Thank you to all the artists we have featured so far on the magazine. We are a new magazine with much to prove, but each of these artists believed in OURS and I can’t thank them enough for that. Thank you to everyone who applied to the very first open call, ISO & Rainbows! There were more entries than we ever thought we would get and that support was incredible. If you have not checked out the online gallery section for ISO & Rainbows or the honoree articles make sure to do so!
And finally, I want to give the biggest thanks to the current staff of OURS Magazine. All of you have been incredibly beneficial to the growth and consistency of the magazine. Without all of your help and dedication OURS would not be here. Thank you Finn, Keeley, Ashley, Tricia, Madison, Alexis, Emilee and Carter. I am forever grateful.
Again, thank you so much for being a part of this community! Every bit helps and we hope to always bring wonderful articles, artists and photographs to you every week. We can’t wait to show you what is coming up next for July and August!
